Why does the be2net driver show "rx_address_mismatch_drops"?

Issue

• In certain versions of the be2net driver, errors are shown on interfaces when viewing the output of:

# ifconfig

• Further exploration shows all of these errors appear under the "rx_address_mismatch_drops" counter when using this command (where eth* is the interface in question):

# ethtool -S eth* | grep rx_address_mismatch_drops
     rx_address"mismatch_drops: 55325
