Changing OpenShift Node Logs to a Symlink

Issue

  • /var/log file system on our node - Journal logs are filling this space, need to clean the file system frequently causing loss of data.
  • Is it fine if we make /var/log/journal a symbolic link pointing to some other directory on a different file system?
  • Does it has any impact on OSE functionality.
