Updating Cluster Compatibility Version fails ('Internal Engine Error')

Issue

  • When attempting to update our Cluster Compatibility Version, we see the following error from the gui:
Error while executing action Edit Cluster properties: Internal Engine Error
  • In the logs, we see an error similar to: (engine.log)
WARN  [org.ovirt.engine.core.bll.UpdateVmCommand] (ajp-/127.0.0.1:8702-4) [704beb38] CanDoAction of action 'UpdateVm' failed for user admin@internal. Reasons: VAR__ACTION__UPDATE,VAR__TYPE__VM,ACTION_TYPE_FAILED_INVALID_TIMEZONE
