Issue

  • CIFS transactions result in 0-byte files being sent from Red Hat Enterprise Linux machines to Windows shares.
  • The following errors are observable during CIFS transfers:
Nov 21 22:00:26 ymq-lpmftst1 kernel:  CIFS VFS: No response for cmd 117 mid 3
Nov 21 22:00:26 ymq-lpmftst1 kernel:  CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -11
