While running "parted -l" command on a disk, getting the "loop-partition-table-imposed" message?
Issue
- While running command
parted -l
for a disk, getting the following message.
Error: partition length of 9572327424 sectors exceeds the
loop-partition-table-imposed maximum of 4294967295
- What does this mean?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1+
- parted < 2.1-21.el6
