JBoss server.log overwritten on restart despite Append being set to true

Issue

• Our server.log is being overwritten on restart. Our log4j config is correct with the Append param being set to true, but despite this the log is still overwritten.
• We also notice that our server.log receives messages that are typically only seen in the console output and boot.log.
