Service ricci status shows "ricci dead but pid file exists"
Issue
- ricci agent won't start properly on cluster server.
service ricci startcompletes without any errors, butservice ricci statusshows the following.
# service ricci status
ricci dead but pid file exists
service ricci startsuggests the daemon is started, but thepscommand output does not show it running.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5, 6 (with the High Availability Add-on)
