- What versions of Apache and mod_jk are recommended for JBoss EAP 4.x and 5.x ?
- Is the Apache version 2.2.15 appropriate to configure with EAP 6.1 or there exist any one better?
- Which version of Apache httpd package will be shipped with JBoss EAP 6.4 ( as for EAP6.3.3 it is 2.2.26 )?

The most recent stable versions of Apache httpd and mod_jk are recommended . Refer the KCS which states the Web servers and connectors tested for Jboss EAP 4 and 5.

In case of using mod_cluster, reference the installation guide to ensure that an appropriate version of Apache httpd is running. Also refer this KCS
For EAP 6.x

Apache (Jboss-ews-httpd-2.0.1) is shipped as an EAP 6 component and hence is the best recommended option to use with EAP 6.x. Refer to KCS which states the web servers and connectors which are tested for JBoss EAP 6.
