JBoss ON agent reporting domain host name is "null"

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • JBoss ON agent reports "Detected domain host name [null]"
  • JBoss ON agent reports that the domain name is null but the domain name is set in the domain.xml.

  • JBoss ON agent.log contains messages similar to:

    WARN  [ResourceContainer.invoker.availCheck.daemon-48] (rhq.modules.plugins.jbossas7.BaseServerComponent)- Domain host name seems to be changed
INFO  [ResourceContainer.invoker.availCheck.daemon-48] (rhq.modules.plugins.jbossas7.BaseServerComponent)- Detected domain host name [null]

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.3
  • Monitored server running in domain mode;
