Having a stonith device that requires unfencing in addition to another that doesn't causes pacemaker to try to unfence both of them on startup in a RHEL 6 or 7 High Availability cluster
Issue
- We added a
fence_scsidevice to our configuration in addition to the power devices we already had. I'm seeing those power-devices being called with 'on' and failing, and thenfence_scsinever completes its unfencing as a result. - Why is
pacemakertrying tounfenceall of my devices instead of just the one withprovides=unfencing?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add-On
pacemaker- One or more
stonithdevices withprovides=unfencingin its meta attributes - One or more
stonithdevices that does not requireunfencing
