Cluster service containing mysql resource fails to start with mysqld reporting "Can't start server: can't create PID file: Permission denied" in RHEL 6
Issue
mysqlresource in cluster fails to start with a 'Timeout Error':

/var/log/mysqld.logreports permission denied when trying to create the pid file in the cluster directory:
121115 11:33:25 [ERROR] /usr/libexec/mysqld: Can't create/write to file '/var/run/cluster/mysql/mysql:rhelcms.pid' (Errcode: 13)
121115 11:33:25 [ERROR] Can't start server: can't create PID file: Permission denied
