Issue

  • We had an exportfs resource fail to stop with a timeout while it was repeatedly logging "Cleanup export cache ... (try X)"
  • What is exportfs waiting on when it logs "Cleanup export cache"?
  • exportfs is timing out on stop

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 with the High Availability Add-On
  • One or more exportfs resources managed by the cluster
