Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • I am trying to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 with my kickstart profile on x86_64 server, but it failed during the chkconfig package installation.
  • %packages section in the kickstart includes glibc.i686. When it's removed, the problem didn't happen.
  • Also, this problem didn't happen by adding --multilib option of %packages section.
  • /tmp/packaging.log included the following logs, when the problem occurs..
