rndc: connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953: connection refused
Issue
- When restarting or starting
namedservice, the following errors are observed in/var/log/messages:
none:0: open: /etc/rndc.key: permission denied
named[24228]: couldn't add command channel 127.0.0.1#953: permission denied
named[24228]: none:0: open: /etc/rndc.key: permission denied
named[24228]: couldn't add command channel ::1#953: permission denied
