RHEL 5 Satellite-based installs fail to install pfmon/libpfm

Issue

  • All installs from the Satellite fail with one of the errors below

    The file pfmon-3.2-0.060926.5.el5.i386.rpm cannot be opened.  This is due to a missing file, a corrupt package or corrupt media.  Please verify your installation source.

or

The file libpfm-3.2-0.060926.4.el5.x86_64.rpm cannot be opened.  This is due to a missing file, a corrupt package or corrupt media.  Please verify your installation source.

Environment

  • Satellite 5.2.1
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL) channels on the Satellite server
