I am not seeing a disk in VMWare ESX3.0.x even though it is zoned, presented and configured properly. How can I resolve this?

Begin by checking these three items:

  • Was the disk part of the vm when it booted? Preform the following command to check:

    
 # ls -l /vmfs/devices/disks/vm
 vmhba0:0:0:0
 vmhba0:0:43:0
 vmhba0:0:52:0

    This will return all the disks that were part of the vm when it was booted.
