sudo does not send email updates about sudo actions

Issue

• SUDO Mail alerts does not work.

• Tried with the following options without success

  Defaults    mail_no_perms , mail_always, mailerpath = /bin/mail, mailto = "user@example.com" 
  

• Nothing ever shows up to the email account, which is valid.  Also, a simple "mailx" command works just fine.
