Why is the ext3 filesystem on my iSCSI LUN going read-only on RHEL5?
Issue
- Filesystem is continually becoming read-only when writing relatively large files. Filesystem is on a iSCSI LUN on a NetAPP target. Other machines accessing the NetAPP aren't having any problems. Writing small files isn't causing the problem either.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- ISCSI
