How to change the Java Preferences root directory used by the JON Agent

  • Can JON server be configured to write these prefs.xml, rhq-agent, rhq-server etc to another folder (instead of user home)?
  • Should JON be creating the .java/ preference directory off the base install directory?
  • Can the location of the .java preference directory be configured?
  • Can the agent be configured to use a different location for its Java Preferences directory?
  • Changing the location of Java Preferences.

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 2.2.0, 2.3.0, 2.3.1, 2.4.0, 2.4.1, 3.0.0, 3.0.1, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2

  • JBoss ON Agent

  • Configuration stored in Java Preferences (default <USER_HOME>/.java/.userPrefs/rhq-agent)
