Passing parameters to SQL Queries in DV Dashboard

Issue

• As part of the deployment of DV Dashboard, we would like to limit individual department users access only their department data. Ideally, we would like to setup the data source / SQL query and pass the dept_id to the where clause during the run time
• Need to add a new variable to the user session, for example "company" and use this variable to inject in a SQL Data Provider, and filter results.
