Restoring root volume using third party alternate_boot script fails to boot, with error.. EXT3-fs: dm-0: couldn't mount because of unsupported optional features (240)
Issue
- An attempt to upgrade the server from 5.8 to 6.6 was performed today. After the upgrade the account team decided they wanted to back out. I have an alternate boot environment which I am able to boot to, but when having issues when attempting to restore the primary volume group vg00. I get the following message at boot and then hangs. kernel panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init! Also - the rsync from vg00alt to vg00 volume groups experienced some errors. Not sure if there is a better way to sync up the volumes
