RHEL6/7: How to configure InfiniBand cards using the mlx5_core driver for IPoIB?
Issue
- I want to perform a certification for
InfiniBand EDR 100Gbps Ethernethardware. How to activate the IPoIB(Ethernet/InfiniBand) mode? - hwcert suite (rhcert-backend plan) scheduled the
IPoIB (Ether/inifiniBand)test. How to proceed? With the mlx4_core driver I modified/etc/rdma/rdma.confand/etc/rdma/mlx4.conf, rebuild the initrd and reboot. How about the mlx5_core driver for the newer cards? We want to do the switching with pure Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) tools.
