How to non-destructively change filesystem labels
Issue
- How can filesystem labels be changed without recreating the filesystem with
mkfs? - The label for the
/and/bootfilesystems became "/1" and "/boot1" when re-installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 on the same system. Is there any way to fix this?
