Team or bond does not work in RHEL 7 and Emulex be2net returns opcode 147-1 failed:status 1-75 and MAC address isn't set

Issue

  • Team or bond interface is not working as expected and the following errors are seen in the logs:

    be2net 0000:82:00.0: opcode 147-1 failed:status 1-75
be2net 0000:82:00.0: MAC address change to 70:10:6f:2c:26:1a failed

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • Emulex Skyhawk be2net-based NIC
  • Bonding or Teaming
