Cannot re-apply altered desktop profile with Sabayon

Issue

• When Sabayon is used to manage user profiles and a profile is altered using sabayon, it is not possible to re-apply the profile to users who are currently using it.
• The only way to re-apply the profile is to purge user's gconf settings in home directory (~/.gconf*)
