During boot, PVs on mdraid devices used by the VG containing root are missing.
Issue
At boot time, one or more PVs used by the VG containing root are missing. This results in partial LVs not getting activated and filesystems not getting mounted. The PVs are on mdraid devices.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- VG containing root uses multiple PVs on mdraid devices
