KVM: Guest VMs in the same hypervisor cannot communicate using IPv6 and macvtap in bridge mode
Issue
- Cannot connect to any other IPv6 VM running on the same physical host and on the same macvtap virtual port.
- Link-Local (fe80::/10) pings work, but global unicast do not.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2
- Any Guest Operating System
- Networking of Virtual Machines is macvtap based.
