rgmanager crashes with stvagente software installed and forces node to reboot in RHEL

Issue

  • rgmanager crashes, node reboots when this happens

  • Logs show watchdog daemon died, but no segfault is logged:

    Dec  7 21:55:00 node3_pub clurgmgrd[4370]: <crit> Watchdog: Daemon died, rebooting...

  • clurgmgrd (main process, not watchdog) process receives a SIGABRT signal causing it to die and dump core

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 with the High Availability Add On
  • rgmanager
  • stvagente software installed
