How to tune performance for the BPM or DV Dashbuilder application?

Issue

• Are there recommendations around optimizing data retrieval for Dashbuilder queries?
• What we’re now experiencing is a serious performance problem on the production server whenever the dashbuilder is accessed. This manifests itself as a huge spike in the CPU load to the point where CPU starvation exceptions get generated.
• The performance issue occurs when the data set at which the Dashbuilder queries become large.
