Issue

  • 32-bit application cannot find files on XFS filesystem
  • Our i386 or i686 process fails to find or open files which are present on the filesystem in ls or find
  • 32-bit third-party JVM fails to load with NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object on large XFS filesystem greater than 1TiB

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • XFS filesystem larger than 1TiB
  • inode64 mount option (default in RHEL7)
