Docker Tag store, repositories-devicemapper is reporting "unexpected EOF" when starting docker.

Issue

  • We had /var/lib/docker fill up on one of our nodes that we use to house our docker images. After increasing that volume we tried to restart docker and now get this error:
MONTH DD HH:MM:SS docker[PID]: time="YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS.ms-TZ:TZ" level=fatal msg="Error starting daemon: Couldn't create Tag store repositories-devicemapper: unexpected EOF"
