lrmd reports a monitor operation on a gfs2 Filesystem resource "timed out" in a RHEL 6 or 7 Resilient Storage cluster with pacemaker

Issue

  • A Filesystem resource for gfs2 failed a monitor operation with a timeout
  • gfs2 is not responsive in my cluster and the Filesystem resource for it timed out

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, 8, or 9 with the Resilient Storage Add On
  • pacemaker
  • One or more Filesystem resources with fstype=gfs2
