Configuring Service Binding Manager for JBoss EAP 4.3

Issue

  • Multiple Jboss process are running on the same machine, so we are using the “ports-03” of the sample-binding.xml provided in jboss/docs/example/binding/. Here the HA-JNDI port is “1400” and our application is supposed to use HA-JNDI. But during the server startup, it is unable to connect to port 1400,  the application is loading properly with the normal JNDI port “1399”.

  • How do we using the Service Binding Manager on JBoss EAP 4.3?

  • How do we run multiple instances of JBoss EAP 4.3 on the same machine?

  • Can a port binding set be specified via system property jboss.service.bindings.set (like with EAP 5.x)?
