How to Re-connect to a Database on connection loss using org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource?

Datasourceconnection lost- At nights our database team make an online backup that apparently makes the fuse to disconnect from the database for a moment
- Usually the
datasourcereconnect itself toIngres, but not always and that's our issue - I would like to know where and how I have to configure to make sure the
datasourcecan reconnect after database failures orofflineperiods of time
