This paper discusses how to improve the readability of GNU Debugger (GDB) output using Python Pretty Printers, which will be available soon on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Python Pretty Printers, along with the C++ STL library (which is also discussed in this paper's examples), are currently available as part of the Fedora 11 version of GDB.
