Issue

  • PKI tomcat service fails to start with the error message in /var/log/pki/pki-tomcat/ca/debug
Internal Database Error encountered: Could not connect to LDAP server host idmserver.example.com port 636 Error netscape.ldap.LDAPException: Authentication failed (49)
  • Need to recover from loss of LDAP information in o=ipaca
