Why MTU on interfaces is not persistent after a system reboot ?
Issue
- Have set
MTU=9000in the~/ifcfg-<suffix>file but when the platform/system is rebooted, all of the interfaces are coming up asMTU = 1500
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
- MTU
