Issue

  • Experiencing extreme typing lag when using Spice as the display protocol for Windows 7 x64 virtual machine guests.
  • You can practically type a whole sentence before it is displayed on the screen.
  • When using the machine via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) there are no issues with typing.
  • We are using RHEV 3.5 and Hypervisor OS Version of RHEV Hypervisor - 7.1 - 20150512.1.el7ev.
  • RHEV-Tools 3.5.9 are installed on the client VM.
  • We have a work around by using Remote Desktop Protocol.
