Can't install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 on a new disk for an SGI UV 100 Hardware

Issue

  • Had to change out hard drives on the UV 100 system and have not been able to reload/reinstall Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 OS onto the new disk.
  • The error message displayed on screen is as follows. It hangs at the following step.
Trying to allocate 923 pages for VMLINUX
[Linus-EFI, setup-0x102d, size 0x39a5801]
[Initrd, addr-0x71269000, size=0x1cab9cc]
