Does Red Hat support issues related to DPM?

Issue

  • Does Red Hat support issues related to DPM (Data Protection Manager)?
  • Does Red Hat support issues related to LIS (Linux Integration Services) Tools?
  • Hyper-V guest can not be backed up by Microsoft DPM 2012 R2.
  • No backup via DPM on Hyper-V VM.
  • When Linux Integration Services Version 4.0 for Hyper-V is not installed, the guest can be backed up using offline mode. However, when intergration service is installed, online backup is failed.
  • When Linux Integration Services Version 4.0 for Hyper-V is not installed, the guest can be backed up using offline mode. However, when intergration service is installed, online backup is failed.
    We contacted Microsoft and they said DPM is working properly. Can you please check where the problem is?
