Client gets HTTP 400 error for POST request from Apache httpd web server when using IE9/11 as http client

Issue

• The end user is getting HTTP 400 error Bad Request error for POST request from Apache httpd web server front end to JBoss EAP6 server when using IE9/11 as http client, while using Firefox or Chrome as client issue does not exist. We are using mod_cluster with AJP protocol between Apache httpd and JBoss EAP6.
