Can I install Camel as a JBoss module in EAP?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • We are trying to deploy Camel as a JBoss module so we don't need a copy of the libraries in every other application. But we are getting class loading issues from the Camel components.
  • This is what we have tried: http://blog.christianposta.com/camel-on-jboss-eap-with-custom-modules/, but we couldn't get it working yet.
  • Where are you experiencing the behavior? What environment? -> Clean EAP 6.4.3 with Camel modules added to the modules/ directory.
  • When does the behavior occur? Frequently? Repeatedly? At certain times? -> At startup (class loading issues)

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 6.x
  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse (Fuse)
    • 6.2.x
  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse Service Works (FSW)
    • 6.0.x
