How to install new kernel if the space in /boot is insufficient?
Issue
- Running out of
/boot
space during patching. - Is there a way to tell yum/Sat server to use a different directory for all it's temporary work and only copy the files into
/boot
when it is done? - Kernel installation fails with corrupt initramfs.
- Yum update needs additional space in
/boot
Environment
