Issues while bringing up `snmptrapd` with the paramater `-f` in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Issue
- In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3,
snmptrapdcomes up with the default parameters as-Lsd –p /var/run/snmptrapd.pid - In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 and 5.6, the trap receiver i.e.
traphandle default <rcvvr>does not receive any traps sent - If
snmptrapdis started using-f -Lsd –p /var/run/snmptrapd.pidthe trap receiver gets traps. Are there any changes made?
