How to examine the payload of an incoming SOAP WS Call in JBoss EAP 6?

Issue

• we need to examine the payload of an incoming SOAP WS Call and according to the content of a tag "TEST" we need to call the same WS deployed on another Host (a test system). At the apache CXF page, I found under this a fast ready-to-use solution.
• My question is, there is a way in EAP6 to use the CXF AbstractPhaseInterceptor mentioned there? So as I know, the CXF Stack was extended in EAP in order to get rid of the spring framework dependency.
