Specifying '@kde-software-development' in %packages of kickstart file does not install the specific package group, why ?

- Specifying the directive '@kde-software-development' in %packages of the kickstart file does not install the said package group. why ?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 Client
Root Cause

There was a cleanup on the non-existing components in the comps file prior to the release of RHEL5.4. In RHEL5.3, even though the group 'kde-software-development' was present, there were no packages under the said section.

So on specifying the said group in the kickstart file, no particular packages are installed but also no error pops up and the installation goes on fine. In RHEL5.4 the clean-up has entirely moved the 'kde-software-development' group.
