Why are unnecessary updates issued when saving entities in a parent/child relationship in JBoss EAP 5?
Issue
In a one-to-many bidirectional relationship between Parent and Child with both parent and child new instances and child in a Set on parent, a save of parent causes not only inserts of parent and child but also an unneeded update of child to update its foreign key to the parent.
