How do I check all the kernel parameters used when the Red Hat Enterprise Linux system was booted?

To confirm which boot options were passed to boot loader (GRUB), run the following command as the root user:

# cat  /proc/cmdline

To check what are the default boot options and have not been entered by an administrator at the last boot, compare the output to the lines beginning with kernel in the file /etc/grub.conf.
