System not sending mails via postfix, despite postfix configured correctly
Issue
After installing and configuring postfix, when sending mails from the command line using mailx or other mail programs, they seem not to be sent out by postfix and are never received by a recipient on a different mail host.
I double checked the postfix configuration and it looks correct.
