SAR data is not being captured

Issue

  • At some point, sar data has stopped being collected.
  • From /var/log/cron, we can see.
CROND[19670]: (root) CMD (/usr/lib64/sa/sa1 1 1)
CROND[20575]: (root) CMD (/usr/lib64/sa/sa1 1 1)
CROND[21566]: (root) CMD (/usr/lib64/sa/sa1 1 1)
CROND[22585]: (root) CMD (/usr/lib64/sa/sa1 1 1)
crond[23489]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required)
crond[24432]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required)
crond[24431]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required)
crond[24433]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required)
crond[25373]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required)
